Oct 16th, 2008.The International Kids Fund (IKF), a program of Jackson Memorial Foundation, has scheduled the IKF Latin American Art Auction 2008 on October 16th, 2008. This is the signature fundraising event for the organization. It will be held at the CIFO (Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation) Art Center, located at 1018 North Miami Avenue in Miami. Known in the art world as the “Collector’s Auction,” there is both a silent and live auction, as well as a “Collector’s Corner” at the event. An array of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served throughout the evening.
International Kids Fund (IKF), a program of Jackson Memorial Foundation, seeks to facilitate access to life saving or life changing medical care for children in need. This includes international children who cannot be treated in their native country, as well as children living in the United States who, without IKF assistance, would otherwise have no options. The fund ensures these children receive the best care possible at Holtz Children’s Hospital of the University Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, one of the nation’s premier teaching hospitals.
