Sep 29, 1:00pm

A talk by world-renowned designer Harry Allen followed by a conversation with PAMM Associate Curator Diana Nawi. Hear about Allen’s uniquely playful cast of domestic objects and larger design practice, including Allen’s Bank in the Form of a Pig, which can be won in a raffle that day.

Born in New Jersey in 1964, Allen received a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. In 1993, he established Harry Allen Design, and since then, he has designed furniture, lighting, products and interiors for a wide variety of international clients. Allen’s work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art and the Brooklyn, Denver and Philadelphia Museums of Art.
