June 7, 2014. 6:30pm

Bringing out the extraordinary in every child. A world-renowned pianist, Conchita Espinosa founded her method of education based on her conviction that the arts have the power to transform, enhance, and stimulate young minds.

Conchita Espinosa Academy (CEA) and Conchita Espinosa Conservatory of the Arts (CEC) celebrate their 80th anniversary in the 2013-2014 school term. This term also marks 50 years since the schools’ inception in Miami, and the 100th anniversary of founder, Conchita Espinosa’s birth.

To celebrate these three important milestones, on June 7, 2014 CEA and CEC present the Festival of the Arts at Miami-Dade County Auditorium at 6:30pm. The Festival is a biennial tradition and celebration of the arts, where students showcase their hard work, dedication, and talent in dance, music, and theatre. This year’s theme is Legacy, in honor of Conchita Espinosa’s legacy of educating and nurturing children for eighty years.
