Fort Lauderdale’s Symphony of the Americas will host the Mission Chamber Orchestra of Rome in a return engagement for its 23rd Annual Summer Festival, Summerfest, under the baton of the Symphony’s Artistic Director, Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese.
Orchestral concerts feature Carnival of Venice, La Bella Cubana, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Sarasate’s Habanera and world premieres by Italian composer & soloist, Lorenzo Turchi-Floris, and Panama composer, Juan Castillo. Musicians of the Symphony of the Americas will join the orchestra in cultural exchange for all concerts in Europe, throughout Florida, and Central America. Symphony of the Americas is Broward’s only professional orchestra, and Broward Center for the Performing Arts is its performance home.
