Let’s face it—the winter holiday season is a wacky time of year. Long to do lists, longer lines, crazy parties, crazier co-workers, cranky clerks, crankier relatives. It’s exhausting, and it warrants comic relief! The Vanguard has the perfect antidote: MIXED NUTS, the next installment in the Vanguard’s 2016 Comedy Series. Comprised of 10 brand new, short comedies, MIXED NUTS will give you the much needed gift of guffaw.
Some of the region’s funniest playwrights have penned these new plays: Marj O’Neill Butler, Casey Dressler, Jessica Farr, Ann Gillespie, Michael Gioia, Joanna Orrego, Leah Barsanti Roth, Greg Waters, and Michael Yawney. Nicole Stodard directs a cast that includes Michael Gioia, Carey Brianna Hart, Noah Levine, and Gretchen Porro.
Special door prizes for the first 100 patrons in attendance opening weekend.
