An Evening with Johannes Brahms inaugurates IV Miami Music Festival

Sep 15, 2016, 8 PM

IV Miami Music Festival from around the World starts with a concert by Miami Chamber Players. They will play Brahms’ Piano Quartet No. 1 in g minor, and the Piano Trio in B Major, Op.8. In its original form, the B major Trio is considered perhaps Brahms’ most Romantic creation revealing his fullness of heart. The Chamber Players for this concert are Claudio Jaffe, cello; Huifang Chen, violin; Viera Borisova, viola; and Adolfo Vidal, piano.

The Miami Music Festival from around the World hosts an extensive array of both contemporary and traditional musicians. Each performance explores the music of a particular region, culture, or genre, and comes together in a concert series that is uniquely diverse.
