Doo-Wop Boys Gone Wild!

Arts at St. Johns. From Sep 27th through Sep 28th, 2008.   Arts at St. Johns. Miami ArtArts at St. Johns presents their newest endeavor "Doo-Wop Boys Gone Wild!" from Director and Singer David Kingery. A new music revue paying tribute to the Doo-Wop groups of the 50's and 60's including the Coasters, the Platters, The Four Seasons, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Temptations and many more, this exciting concert will have you clapping, snapping and tapping along. Four great male singers will croon and bop at this one-of-a-kind production only Arts at St. John's can produce. Performances will take place on September 27th, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 28th, at 3:00 p.m.

Inspired by the crooners and doo-wop stars of the past, Kingery has carefully selected three other performers to blend four-part harmonies. Performing with Kingery will be Eric Miji, Ray Melton and Geo Macia. All four men are talented professionals with experience here in Miami and beyond. Thrill to the beat and sway of these four young men as they take you back in time to days when harmonies blended, choreography was king, and the ladies all swooned when the men crooned.
