The Miami Beach Cinematheque, located on Espanola Way in Miami Beach, presents the screening of the film Jellyfish on May 9th through May 12th at 7:30 p.m. The stories of three disparate women intersect at a Tel Aviv wedding. Newly single Batiya works with the catering crew; Filipina Joy attends the event as the caregiver of an elderly woman; and the bride sees her honeymoon dreams go up in smoke. Directed by the popular Israeli novelist Etger Keret and his screenwriter wife, Shira Geffen, the film has won international acclaim for its whimsical intimacy, including the Cannes Camera d’Or.

Jellyfish is presented as part of the Miami Beach Cinematheque Premiere HD Digital series in collaboration with Emerging Cinemas South Beach Premiere. The film was awarded the Semaine de la Critique Best Film, Jury Prize Awards of the Israeli Academy Best Film, Director, Actress nominations Bratislava International Film Festival Jury Prize and Special Mention. It features Sarah Adler, Tsipor Aizen, Ma-nenita De Latorre, Noa Knoller.
