The Alhambra Orchestra. A Concert of Youth and Hope

Feb 8, 2015, 7:30pm

The Orchestra continues its 25th anniversary season with its annual showcase of young local musicians selected in a rigorous competition. Top winner Annabel Chyung, a Ransom-Everglades senior, performs the Sibelius violin concerto with the orchestra. James Leng, a 10th-grader at New World School of the Arts, performs a Schumann piano concerto, and cellist Roey Dushi, a senior at the Dreyfoos School in West Palm Beach, plays Tchaikovsky. The program also includes the lively Danzon #2 by Marquez, and a new work by young composer Anthony Arcaini. Join us to see the future of classical music.
