Saturday Night at Coconut Grove Art Stroll

Every 1st Saturday of the month. 7:00 p.m.

The Coconut Grove Art Stroll is a free public art festival that brings together more than 40 local and international artists, musicians, dancers and food purveyors the first Saturday night of every month at the Promenade of the Shoppes at Mayfair in the Grove. The public can stroll through an eclectic exhibition of artists showcasing paintings, photos, crafts, and mixed media while listening to live music and enjoying free sampling of food and drinks sponsored by local restaurants and beverage companies.

The idea is to bring art and entertainment to the streets and recreate the groovy art shows and funky street life the Grove has been famous for in the past. It’s a family friendly event and the kids can learn about art and draw and paint with Captain Art.

Some of the artists exhibiting works in the festival include Johnny Valdes, Proman Garcia, Arien Lopez, Javier Martinez, Juan Vilacoba, Santa Olaya, Jose Romero, Daisy Rodriguez, Arturo Palomino, Jessica Alvares and German Molina. “The Grove has been an art Mecca and we want to bring people an event that provides a great night of entertainment and culture,” according to Johnny Valdes, director of the Coconut Grove Art Stroll. “It’s free and fun for everyone!”
