Frost’s very own faculty artists collaborate to offer a feast of chamber music by some of the most influential Latin American composers of the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. Musicologist Marysol Quevedo hosts a 30-minute pre-concert lecture about the program and its composers.

This production unites two influential contemporary Spanish artists: Marco Flores, a multi-awarded bailaor and choreographer, and José Almarcha, a lead guitarist. Both develop a dance, scenic and musical dialogue that spontaneously juggles embracing and departing from classical forms, which creates their contemporary expression.
