Denisse de Kalafe in Concert

Miami ArtsFUNDarte in conjunction with the Miami Dade Auditorium presents Brazilian singer, Denise de Kalafe for one night only on Saturday, March 15th at 8:00 p.m. in the Miami Dade County Auditorium, located at 2901 W. Flagler Street in Miami.

With a 32-year-long career and 24 albumns, Denise de Kalafe has lived in Mexico since 1975. The singer brings her powerful voice and unmistakable style to Miami as part of her International tour “Las que a mi me gustan…como a mí me gustan” (The ones I love…the way I love them), where she will do an exhaustive revival of her biggest hits like: Quiéreme más (Love me more), El amor es cosa rara (Love is a rare thing), Quiero gritar (I want to scream), Olvidarte (To forget you), Señora, señora (Lady, lady), and El por qué de mi canto (The reason for my song), acclaimed by Cuban audiences among whom de Kalafe has always had many fans.

During her triumphant career de Kalafe has earned two silver albums for Señora, Señora and two gold for Quiéreme más and El amor es cosa rara. Her most recent production is a triple CD with 48 of her best songs, released under the name of her concert tour “Las que a mi me gustan…como a mí me gustan.”
