Books and Books. Neal Asbury: Conscientious Equity

Nov 29th, 2010. 6 p.m.

altFree enterprise and entrepreneurialism can be the driving force in creating a world that all people want to see – a world where poverty is less prevalent, where everyone can dream of doing something meaningful with their life, where all who want to work can find a job that offers decent wages and a sense of dignity, and where our environment is safe for everyone. Through the author’s experience as a global entrepreneur, Neal Asbury has created his own set of solutions that derive from doing business around the world in a progressive new fashion, one that allows entrepreneurialism and the American spirit to reach out into the unknown to generate a new kind of transaction. A kind of transaction where there are many, many winners. Asbury calls this kind of business “conscientious equity.” Conscientious because it is the right thing to do, and equity because we all have ownership in doing the right thing.

Neal Asbury is the chief executive of The Legacy Companies. He was the 2008 recipient of the coveted United States National Champion Exporter of the Year Award. He has published more than 100 articles on global trade issues, and been quoted in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and LeMonde, and has appeared on network television nationally and internationally. Each week, Asbury hosts “Neal Asbury’s Truth for America,” a radio talk show that attracts a Who’s Who of political and business figures. Produced by Atlantic Radio Network, it is syndicated around the country. “The Neal Asbury Show” is affiliated with Bloomberg Radio and CNBC and broadcasts from Coral Gables, Florida as well as Capitol Hill.
