Fisher of the "Cruisers" contemporary music ensemble, sing a duet onstage at DAR Constitution Hall as part of "American Faces" the 232nd Navy Birthday Concert. The Navy Band with guest vocalist, Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Phil Stacey, a top-10 finalist on "American Idol," held its annual Navy Birthday Concert titled "American Faces" on October 13, 2007, to commemorate the Navy's 232nd birthday. The U.S. Navy Band Commodores, the Navy’s premier jazz ensemble, has played with the likes of Ray Charles and Branford Marsalis. They celebrate their upcoming 50th anniversary by highlighting their legacy of innovation, with music from John Coltrane, Artie Shaw, and Clark Terry, as well as their world-class current repertoire.
