Art Exhibit – Latin American Women Printing

With the focus on correcting the gender imbalance in an art form dominated by men. This international exhibit brings attention to the fact that the art form has been practiced by equally skilled women without anyone noticing. What’s surprising is that people don’t talk about it.

As we pay homage to our radical women artists, “Latin American Women Printing” is a visual tapestry of femme Argentine artists who have garnered attention of the world for women in printing media.

The Pompano Beach Cultural Center’s Gallery and community partner Latin American Art Pavilion, will engage guest curator Ms. Giacchetta who will select 15 artists to participate in this exhibit that will showcase artwork such as lithography, book art and other works on paper on display to revel the proliferation of the distaff in this field.
