altOne of Brazilian music’s true legends, Djavan is known as an engaging performer and a prolific composer of classic hits. Known for his unique singing and guitar playing skills, Djavan’s music displays elaborate melodies and subtle rhythmic patterns, which fuse Brazilian and African music with jazz. The US tour will feature his iconic songs as well as the new and exquisite CD “Aria”, his new release that features his interpretation of classic hits by iconic Brazilian songwriters.

Djavan’s US tour is presented with support from TAM Airlines. Additional support for this concert is received from the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami, Plum TV, Atlantic Broadband, Motion TV, Gazeta Brazilian News, Acontece, City of Miami Beach Cultural Arts Council and the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs.
