Festival Miami 2012

From October 2 through November 4, 2012.

Festival Miami – Florida’s Premier Live Music Festival – provides superior and diverse musical programming each year, while expanding academic opportunities and cultural enrichment to all of South Florida and its visitors. It’s a musical experience no one should miss.

The festival presents between 25 to 30 concerts, master classes, and lectures over a five-week period. Each event falls under one of the four unique themes, which include: “Great Performances,” “Jazz and Beyond,” “Creative American Music,” and “Music of the Americas.”

The community is invited to partake in all that Festival Miami has to offer – from world premieres and symphonic concerts, to chamber music presentations and jazz performances, and much more!

A Conversation with Leon Fleisher – Free Master Class

Beethoven and Rachmaninoff – Leon Fleisher Conducts the Frost Symphony Orchestra

Master artist Leon Fleisher conducts the Frost Symphony Orchestra in a dramatic program ranging from Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture to Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2. $65/45/25

Nuevo Tango in Miami, Part 1 – Music of Ástor Piazzolla
