This concert features new arrangements of music inspired by children’s literature such as The Cat in the Hat and The Giving Tree, as well as iconic Disney films. The program closes with a new suite by Stephen Guerra, Jr., of music from the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

This production unites two influential contemporary Spanish artists: Marco Flores, a multi-awarded bailaor and choreographer, and José Almarcha, a lead guitarist. Both develop a dance, scenic and musical dialogue that spontaneously juggles embracing and departing from classical forms, which creates their contemporary expression.
