FUNDarte presents CLIMAKAZE MIAMI 2018

APRIL 20, 21 & 22 | Miami and Miami Beach

Climakaze Miami is a cultural meeting point for community to consider issues of climate change through the arts. In its 4th year, we invite you to spend Earth Day Weekend immersed in activities with provocative artists to become inspired and energized towards climate action in 2018 and beyond!

April 21st at 8:00 p.m.

In partnership with Miami Dade County Auditorium, this year’s Climakaze Miami will feature Las Áñez (Colombia) in concert and the short film screening of Zenú by Claudio Marcotulli.

General Admission: $25 Adults | $20 Seniors and Students with ID. A limited number of $5 performance tickets will be available for students ages 13-22 through: www.cultureshockmiami.com.

Free events at The Miami Beach Botanical Garden

In conjunction with Siren Arts, Climakaze Miami heads to Miami Beach with performances of Elizabeth Doud’s The Mermaid Tear Factory, followed by an Eco-Arts Gathering; a Bike-Dance-Swim Triathlon and the “Dear Climate” creative writing intensive taking place over the weekend at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, and on bikeways and beaches.

Friday, April 20 / 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. — The Mermaid Tear Factory performance by Elizabeth Doud and Eco-Artist Talk, yoga and more
Saturday, April 21 / 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. – Bike-Dance-Swim Triathlon
Sunday, April 22 / 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – “Dear Climate” Creative Writing Intensive
Sunday, April 22 / 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. – The Mermaid Tear Factory performance by Elizabeth Doud (along Lincoln Road)
