Gallery Coordinator

The Gallery Coordinator oversees our exhibition program, and is responsible for executing all tasks related to the arrangement, installation, and documentation of our exhibitions in our south-facing gallery space. The Gallery Coordinator is also responsible for writing about and photographing each exhibition, managing the exhibitions page on our website, and communicating with the artists in advance to ensure the development of a cohesive, impactful show, consistent with our mission. Candidates should be prompt and effective communicators with strong verbal and written language skills, and a background in the visual arts, art administration, and/or exhibition design. A strong connection to South Florida’s art community is a plus. Must be available for (1) every FAT Village Artwalk, (2) to install the exhibition during the week preceding, and (3) one day per week, Wednesday through Saturday.
