Kate Mangianmeli and Graduates of the Florida Grand Opera May 12th, 2007The Florida Grand Opera program has been producing some of America’s foremost Opera talent for years. Join one of their finest graduates, Kate Mangianmeli, as she presents an evening of popular opera arias, lieder and popular song from the Gershwin songbook and beyond. She will be joined by friends from the program, including Tenor David Portillo and Pianist Robert Berrocal. Kate Mangianmeli, Soprano, has sung with Chicago Opera Theater, Florida Grand Opera, Opera Omaha, Glimmerglass Opera, Merola Opera Program, and San Francisco Opera. She was a National Semi-Finalist at the Met in 2003 and received the Opera Index Encouragement Award in 2004. Ms. Mangianmeli received her Bachelor and Master in Music from Indiana University.
