MEN WHO DANCE returns to the stage with an expanded cast and repertoire of dance companies and invited artists, sure to thrill audiences! An explosion of artistic expression meant to explore, deconstruct, and re-define some of the concepts and notions of masculinity. Presented by the Inter-American Choreographic Institute, Men Who Dance created history right here at Broward Center’s own Amaturo Theatre, by becoming the first in-door dance concert back at a major theater since the closing of venues in March 2020. It also made history by presenting to a sold-out crowd, some of South Florida’s top dance companies, including Miami City Ballet, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, Dance NOW! Miami, Cuban Classical Ballet, and Tango Out among others – sharing the stage for the first time in a show of force and camaraderie to its artists and community.
A VIP ticket of $150 dollars supports the artists and scholarship programs. The ticket buyer will receive a tax donation benefit letter. This performance is on sale at full capacity without physical distancing limitations. Ticket purchasers will be notified of up-to-date Health & Safety Guidelines prior to each individual performance.
