Peter Nero in Concert

Nov 5th and 6th, 2010.

altPeter Nero’s virtuoso musical skills and warm stage presence have won him a loyal and enthusiastic following around the world. While many pianists have extraordinary technical abilities, Nero has a rare combination: a fantastic technique, a unique touch, and a penetrating musical intelligence.

He is that rare musician equally at home with classical music, jazz, the American Songbook, the Broadway musical, movie themes and popular songs. Moreover, he is a masterful pianist, seasoned conductor, composer and arranger in all these genres. Just as exceptionally, he has become a cultural emblem, known to statesmen, entertainers, students, housewives and, it seems, all who listen to American music. He achieved his fame on the piano, with his unique capacity to meld concert style virtuosity with imaginative creativity and improvisational facility.

As a much-in-demand arranger and conductor, Peter Nero holds regular posts with the Philly (Philadelphia) Pops, the Tulsa Philharmonic, and Florida Philharmonic.

The first concert will take place on November 5th, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at the Eissey Campus Theatre, Palm Beach Community College located at 11051 Campus Drive in Palm Beach Gardens. The second concert will be held on November 6th, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at the Florida Atlantic University, Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium, located at 777 Glades Road in Boca Raton.
