The New Vision Sax Ensemble is a traditional sax quartet with a flair. This four-man ensemble plays a diverse repertoire while incorporating movement and riveting improvisation. Melton Mustafa, Jason Hainsworth, Diron Holloway, & James Lockhart. The ensemble was founded in 1999 by Grammy-nominated musician and educator Melton R. Mustafa (son of South Florida jazz legend Melton Mustafa). Each member of the group is a professional working musician and has a flair for entertaining every type of audience.
The New Vision Sax Ensemble’s interactive performances combine movement, audience participation, riveting solos, diverse repertoire and the highest level of musicianship. This chamber music group was designed to perform all genres of music. Our repertoire consists of classical, jazz, R & B, pop, ragtime, spirituals, ballads, Latin, Funk Caribbean and many other styles. The New Vision Sax Ensemble has performed in many different capacities and is available to do indoor and outdoor concerts, weddings, festivals, dinner parties and receptions.
