As a part of Miami Music Festival Soprano Christine Goerke and bass-baritone Alan Held, two of the world’s most pre-eminent Wagnerian singers will debut with festival’s inaugural Miami Wagner Institute.

The first year of this unprecedented program culminates with a concert featuring excerpts from Wagner’s Die Walküre. Amongst the world’s most in-demand Wagnerians, Goerke (“Brünnhilde” in upcoming productions at the Metropolitan Opera), and Held (“Wotan” in productions at the Canadian Opera Company and Washington National Opera) are joined by participants from the Wagner Institute alongside the MMF Symphony Orchestra. This concert will also feature Strauss’ Suite from Der Rosenkavalier.
