Popcorn Frights Film Festival, the Southeast’s biggest horror film festival has announced their first wave of programming for the 2018 edition with world premieres, live performances, and special guests. This year’s festival will be held at Popcorn Frights new home base of Fort Lauderdale’s Savor Cinema.
2018’s opening night will feature a triple bill including Havana Darkness, the first English language horror flick to be shot in Cuba, the Florida premiere of Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, and Anna and the Apocalypse which will be screened with a live immersive musical performance. Other movies announced include The Dark, Prospect, Boogeyman Pop, St. Agatha, Wolfman’s Got Nards, What Keeps You Alive, and the charmingly titled Satan’s Slaves. Leading up to the August opening, another wave of films will be announced as well.
