33rd International Hispanic Theater Festival of Miami

Avante Theater, Adrienne Arsht Center and Miami Dade County Auditorium present the 33rd Miami International Hispanic Theater Festival. The Festival will consist of 9 shows from six countries: Argentina, Spain, United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Uruguay. The works will be performed in Spanish and some with supertitles in English.

Free version of The House of Bernarda Alba by Federico García Lorca. Dance-theater in register of flamenco and contemporary dance. A widow decrees an eight-year mourning for her five daughters. In this atmosphere of authoritarianism, repression and desire the drama is unleashed.
