Summer Program and Performance Through July 27th, 2007Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida is offering young aspiring dancers the opportunity to have a month of intense training lead by great teachers and stars of the legendary Mariinsky Ballet (formerly Kirov). Professional dancers also attend the Summer Intensive program offered by Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida in conjunction with the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia, to continue their search of ballet tradition and excellence in training. The four-week program culminates with the July 27th performance, and includes students and dancers, representing Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, as well as outside the state and abroad. For the July 27th performance, excerpts from the classical ballet Raymonda, modern pieces as well as a demonstration of Pas de Deux, Flamenco and Character Classes will be presented.
