Miami MuseumsThe Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum presents the fifth annual Breakfast In The Park featuring widely acclaimed American sculptor Tom Otterness on Sunday, December 9th, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Breakfast In The Park is an official Art Basel sponsored event.  Guests will enjoy an informal lecture by Mr. Otterness and guided tours of the sculpture park featuring works by such celebrated artists as Steve Tobin, Jacques Lipchitz, Charles Ginnever, Anthony Caro and John Henry.

American sculptor Tom Otterness is best known for his contributions to contemporary public sculpture. His stylized bronze figures issue cautionary commentaries on society, politics and commerce in an accessible and humorous approach. Otterness has exhibited widely and completed commissions in the U.S. and abroad. His work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Carnegie Museum of Art, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and the San Francisco Museum of Art. Public commissions include the U.S. Courthouses in Minneapolis and Sacramento, the Cleveland Public Library, the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture in Spokane, the Metropolitan Transit Authority in NY and the Beelden aan Zee Museum in the Netherlands. He is represented by the Marlborough Gallery and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
