Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm
Girl’s Club and the Broward County Cultural Division invite artists, art spaces and creative entrepreneurs to attend this information session/brown bag lunch talk on Wednesday, May 28.
Hear from Gigi Rosenberg, author of The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing, about practical tools and strategies for realizing creative projects and writing successful artist grants. Rosenberg will share tips, resources, and answer questions about the grant writing and proposals process.
Rosenberg’s visit to Broward County will involve several county-wide presentations on How to Talk to Anyone Anywhere about Your Art, and Don’t Go Solo: Enlist a village to help create and launch your next project. Rosenberg’s book, The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing, is designed to transform readers into working artists who confidently tap into all of the resources at their disposal.
Guests are welcome to bring lunch, snacks and/or shareable treats. Refreshments and coffee will be provided. Free parking will be available in the adjacent parking lot, please avoid walking on the grass.
