Returning to Miami following his critically-acclaimed debut in 2014, Jesús Carmona and his company of 11 dancers, musicians and vocalists perform an innovative and emotionally charged program created by Carmona.
Titled Impetus (“bursting with energy”), the piece stars Carmona, who also choreographs and directs this powerful dance interpretation of the most famous scores from Spain’s beloved composers, including Albéniz, Riqueni and Escudero. A dance prodigy, Carmona began his career at age 7, has shared the stage with Spain’s most legendary dancers and was a principal dancer with the prestigious Ballet Nacional de España for three years before creating his own award-winning company.
