Bringing a combination of comedy, parody and burlesque to South Florida for one evening only, the cast of Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad will take to the stage on Saturday, May 31st at 9:00 p.m. at the historic Alfred I. DuPont Building, located at 169 E Flagler Street in downtown Miami.

Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad is a refreshing mix of comedy, cabaret and spoken-word with must-have archetypal characters including the gals who learned to smoke at Hebrew School, got drunk at their Bat Mitzvahs and would rather have more schtuppa than the chupah. With several performers previously appearing on Comedy Central and HBO, Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad’s chosen chicks boldly dare to deconstruct years of tradition, expectations and guilt in a fast-paced vaudeville extravaganza.

Creator Susannah Perlman is the comedian, chanteuse, and producer behind the Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad. Known as “Goddess Perlman,” she is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and now lives in New York City. Perlman has appeared on the stages of Lollapalooza, The NYC Burlesque Fest at the Knitting Factory, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Philly Fringe, Joe’s Pub, Fez, Stephen Talkhouse, Ladyfest, the HOWL festival and even created her own event, The Goddess Fest, in upstate New York. Additionally, she has starred on TLC, NY1, Metro Channel and numerous radio stations around the country.

This performance will mark the third and final show of Arts Inside The Open Tent spring season, wrapping up a compelling series of innovative new Jewish work in alternative venues around Greater Miami.
