XXII International Hispanic Theatre Festival July 27th, 2007As part of the International Hispanic Theatre Festival, there will be a presentation of the group Teatro Luna, who are coming from Chicago, IL to perform the play Quita Mitos written byTanya Saracho A. and directed by Coya Paz. Quita Mitos is an intimate portrait of three very different Mexican women who find themselves culturally and geographically adrift in a cheap motel room. They afford us a unique view of complex Mexican-American identities, challenging stereotypes with the playwright’s trademark wit and humor.
