This is not Berlin at Tower Theater Miami

Fri Aug 23, 2019

1986. Mexico City. Seventeen-year-old Carlos doesn’t fit in anywhere: not in his family nor with the friends he has chosen in school. But everything changes when he is invited to a mythical nightclub where he discovers the underground nightlife scene: post punk, sexual liberty, and drugs that challenges the relationship with his best friend Gera and lets him find his passion for art. As Carlos and Gera make their first foray into the world of adults, their worldviews’ are shaken and rearranged anew through the unmistakable lense of post-punk music and rebellion – and emerge more mature and grown up than ever expected.

With a coolness factor off the charts, this musically and otherwise seductive drama is likely to appeal to audiences who lived through the era as well as those who wish they had.”
