Miami Beach Cinematheque June Series

Let’s Experiment! From Jun 22nd through Jun 30th, 2007The Miami Beach Cinematheque has put together a series of screenings for the month of June entitled Let’s Experiment. The series’ highlight will be the South Florida Premiere of Inland Empire by Director David Lynch. Mr. Lynch will introduce the film to the audience via webcast, on his favorite “IChat”, from the safety of his own living room. The Inland Empire event is part of a month long series of films in an experimental vein, continuing at the Miami Beach Cinematheque, featuring classics, a documentary, and short films. Beginning on Friday, June 22nd with the Czech New Wave masterpiece Daisies, by Vera Chytlová, the series continues Saturday, June 23rd with the new documentary Notes On Marie Menken, and concludes Saturday, June 30th with a newly restored retrospective of short films by the experimentally oriented identical twin directors, the Quay Brothers.
