New Theatre's World Premiere: Not Ready For Primetime

From March 28 through April 19, 2014

New Theatre is excited to present its World Premiere of Not Ready For Primetime, written by Erik J. Rodriguez and Charles A. Sothers. The performance will be hosted at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC), running from March 28 through April 19, 2014.
Not Ready For Primetime bites into the twisted off-stage personalities, steamy love affairs and the fights that fueled the Emmy Award-winning, dysfunctional late-night ensemble of Saturday Night Lives’ Newman, Belushi, Curtin, Radner, Aykroyd, Murray, Morris, Chase and their ringmaster Lorne Michaels. Michaels is portrayed by the Miami Marlins’ President David Samson.

New Theatre’s New Voices – New Work plays stimulate, provoke, challenge and entertain audiences from South Florida’s diverse multicultural community. We utilize the talents of local artists to produce a mixof classic and new plays that focus on relevant social, political and ethical themes. New Theatre was founded in May 2006 by Rafael and Kimberly de Acha. Its current directors are Ricky J. Martinez (Artistic Director) and Eileen Suarez (Managing Director).
