XXII International Hispanic Theatre Festival From Jul 12th through 13th, 2007The acclaimed International Hispanic Theatre Festival, presented by Teatro Avante and American Airlines is celebrating its 22nd anniversary season by bringing a vast selection of theatre groups from the United States, Latin America and Europe to various locations in South Florida. On July 12th and 13th, the Teatro Nacional de Costa Rica, based in San Jose, Costa Rica, will be presenting the play Soledad: Quien te Acompana written by María Silva and directed by Mariano González. After a twenty-year absence, Soledad ends a self-imposed exile and returns to her country, determined to face up to her past, her memories and her deepest hopes and desires. A moving, irritating, surprising, violent and real story of two women condemned to live together.
