Aqua Art Miami, the sister satellite fair to Art Miami, made a huge splash during Art Week 2015 with its successful five-day exhibition of the
strongest emerging and mid-career artists and galleries in the industry. The fair attracted a record-breaking 10,500 people in attendance all under
the direction of the established fair’s new Director, Katelijne De Backer, who handpicked 46 galleries across 28 cities and 10 countries.
Aqua’s unique environment – in a classic South Beach hotel with spacious exhibition rooms that open onto a breezy, intimate courtyard – has become a
favorite gathering spot for collectors, curators and art lovers to discover fresh talent and acquire new works while exchanging cultural ideas and
forming meaningful connections.
And Aqua Hotel is located within walking distance of Art Basel, just south of the bustling Lincoln Road restaurant and shopping area. Keep an eye out
for the Aqua shuttle.
