June, 2010.
With great anticipation, MDPL has begun new monthly walking tours focusing on the wonderful Miami Modern architecture of Miami Beach’s recently recognized North Shore National Register District. Led by MDPL trained guides, the 90 minute tours will trace the history of MiMo design and architecture in Miami Beach and the efforts of MDPL and preservationists to insure the survival of the district.
The first tour ever leaved from the Southeast corner of 73rd Street and Collins Avenue (near the North Beach Band Shell) at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 led by Jeff Donnelly. The tours are scheduled to leave from the same location on the first Saturday of every month thereafter at 10:30 a.m.
