Cartier opens in the Miami Design District

August 2012.

Cartier is one of the first new luxury tenants to open in the Miami Design District. The new Cartier boutique will have a 4,331-square-feet store, with just under 3,000-square-feet for retail space. The boutique will feature a mix of Cartier’s jewelry, watches, accessories and fragrances. The design includes luxurious and contemporary elements with glass display cases trimmed in bronze and oak wood floors. The boutique will also feature four private viewing rooms.

“We look forward to welcoming clients to the new boutique and continuing our strong presence in Miami that we’ve had for more than 30 years,” said Emmanuel Perrin, president and chief executive of Cartier North America.

The arrival of luxury retailers like Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Hermes is part of a major redevelopment of the Design District lead by developer Craig Robins and his company DACRA.
