Aesthetics and Values Exhibition 2009

FIU Honors College Students. Mar 16th through Apr 10th, 2009.  Aesthetics and Values Exhibition 2009. Miami Art ExhibitionThe Aesthetics and Values class of the Honors College at Florida International University presents the Aesthetics and Values Exhibition 2009, an annual exhibition that is executed solely by students within the class under the supervision of artist and professor John Bailly. Opening on March 16th, 2009, the show will run until April 10th in the gallery at the Green Library at FIU and will showcase established Miami artists. The opening reception will take place on April 3rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The Aesthetics and Values 2009 exhibition includes work in various media formats by Ray Azcuy, Brian Burkhardt, Cooper, Julie Davidow, Edouard Duval Carrié, Jacek Kolasinski, Mark Koven, Ralph Provisero, Sara Stites and Ruben Torres-Llorca. The annual exhibition provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their resourcefulness and creativity through the research, organization and set up of an on-campus exhibition of contemporary Miami artists.

Student-curators of Aesthetics and Values 2009 are Samantha Banal, Robert Cascella, Stella Concepcion, Linda De La Paz, Noel Deckert, Marilyn Dominguez, Moises Enghelberg, Ernesto Fernandez, Gisell Fiat, Monica Font, Adriano Froes, Gabriela Garcia, Dahiana Gil, Thomas Johnson, Yesica Laver, Linda Lee, Alina Lenz, Michael Lopez, Jacqueline Lorenzo, Linda Martin, Priscila Mojica, Ana-Sofia Navarrete, Rozina Partabi, Jairo Pava, Melissa Pita, Gaudry Puechavy, Mariana Restrepo, Sergio Rioseco, Miryam Rodriguez, Ashley Rousseau, Nalisa Saati, Frances Sanchez, and Alejandro Stein.
