Carving Up: Hugo Michel Hernández at Art@Work/Farside Gallery

Art@Work presents Carving Up, an exhibition by Hugo Michel Hernández. The body of work focuses on the duality of meaning in reclaimed objects and images. Hernández (BFA, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago; MA, Columbia College, Chicago; MFA, University of Illinois at Chicago), is a painter and professor currently living in Cambridge, Massachussetts.

Hernández currently holds a professorial position in Humanities and Art History at Miami Dade College. He was a guest lecturer at the Grau Museum and Cultural Center, Bogota in February 2013.

Gallery hours: Monday through Thursday, 11:00am to 5:00pm or by appointment
